ME GONNA TORTURE THE READERS, ME SO EVIL!
I have to really find a time to blog and I realise that I could only blog at night. Blogging in the morning or afternoon is impossible as I have to work, gosh.. I'd be dragged to work even if I'm free. I don't know how long I can survive being like this, just so lifeless. I can't stop repeating and complaining about being lifeless because I just hate being like this, I miss studying so so much..
Anyway, I'm gonna blog about my trip that I had last month on the 7th. I can't wait to have another one, my stress level is almost to its limit XD
DAY 1
I started my journey at around 7am, early huh? I was excited *wee!!*
And it's the 1st day that I drive without the P sticker and with a new driving license, no more probation!!
I even tested the steering lock since I'm not driving the MyVi. I was afraid that the car would be stolen or sabotaged at KL, so I'm just being careful, alright? =x
Lemme demonstrate =p
(Eventually, the lock was broken when I tried to unlock it at KL, swt..)
I went to pick up my girl at her house, she was having a morning walk with her grandma, haha. Her grandma is very active, does it every morning, I'm impressed *smile*
Her mother was at home to ensure that she has everything all packed so that nothing important was left behind.
It was a misty morning, I had a smooth journey and was looking so forward to reach KL.
(Genting, I'll be there soon!)
The moment we reach KL, I can start imagining how busy the road will be since it's a working day. I reached at about 10am. With the help of my GPS in my N85, I'll travel around KL since I'm not so farmiliar with the road here, LOL~
MID VALLEY HERE I COME!!
MAN!! It was so hard to find a parking here!! I mean, it's a working day, how can the parking lot be so full!?
I spent for more than an hour trying to find a parking space, imagine how many rounds I went around the parking lot, this is frustrating!! Forget it, it's a happy trip day =x
Went to window shop there. All the clothes there doesn't seem to be attractive, or it was rather unsuitable for us. The clothes at Top Man were a bit too gothic or maturish for me. Most of the clothes at Top Shop was either too revealing or dull to my girl, haha.
It was close to 1, so it's time for lunch!
We went to revisit the small restaurant..
LITTLE TAIWAN!!
Well, there was this Blue Coral drink that we couldn't get our minds off since the last time we visited here. So, we ordered it again!
On the left, is our favourite Blue Coral! The one beside it is called Jasmine Passion. Sadly, the taste was not as great as what we savoured in the past. This time, it was rather powdery-like, very artificial. One word explains it all, dissapointing~
I ordered Special Beef Shank, we shared the food since she has a little stomach discomfort, poor her. This wasn't as tasty and as appetising as we thought it would be, I would prefer to have the Salted Chicken Chop Rice that we had, sigh.
We were very unsatisfied with what we had for this meal, doesn't taste good, especially the food.. It gives us the impression that we don't feel like coming back there again.. *upset*
When I was leaving Mid Valley, I was stuck with unlocking the steering lock for around half an hour, gosh.. Time is so precious at that time. Then, we went to Pavilion to do some window shopping as well, the things here were too costly for us, sob.
In the evening, we decided to have something delicious and we were thinking of Buffet, so it's Jogoya at Starhill!!!
The place is fantastic! Most of all, the food here are all mouth watering, I'll never forget that I enjoyed all the food there, haha!
I only took a few photos here since there were so many people here. Furthermore, I rushed to take the food and did not bother to snap photos XD
(See? I told you that I have no time to snap pics)
(love the fresh sushi they have here, I ate a lot of these, ichiban!!)
(she had quite a lot of seafood)
(our dessert was a great one too, Haagen Daz Green Tea ice cream!!)
You guys should see her eat the oysters, she was so GAGA over them! I was astounded, she really can eat a lot.. I was also surprised to see the mushroom soup, it wasn't soup! It was mushroom with cheese being the soup!!
Man, I finished that 'mushroom soup' and it was so damn fulling, wow. I can see that my tummy is starting to bulge and bloating out =x
By the time we finished our buffet, it was around 10.20pm, so we just 'lepak' around Starhill, love the atmosphere here. Magnifico!
(there's a band at the ground floor, we can hear them from the top, great oldies music)
The night is still young, so we went to watch a movie in Pavilion GSC!
I'm just a movie freak, it's a must for me to drop by and watch movie at a comfy cinema!
It's always more comfy to watch with Twin Seat, more spacious, haha =D
By the way, we didn't watch 3D.
DAY 2
On the 2nd day, we planned to go One Utama since she told me that she always enjoy going there with her family and relatives. Again, I depended on the GPS, it was not that accurate. I lost my way twice when I was so so freaking near to One Utama, oh my god!!
As I spotted Italiannies while driving, I'm determined that we're gonna have our meal there!
(Yes yes!! We're getting nearer!!)
I know the meals here are heavy, yet I insist that we go there and have our brunch, yahoo!!
Not regretfully, we ordered quite a lot that we had to take away some of the food, whoops~
(It was just normal bread, but I ate them like I was a very hungry monster. They were delicious!)
(Hot Chocolate for the senorita!!)
(A fresh Lemon-ade for moi!)
(The very appetising Spaghetti & Meatball. The meatballs were really huge, no joke!)
(Napoli Bianco Pizza. This is very heavy, lotsa beef in it!)
(Look at her, she's savouring every bite of her meal)
(My main course, the Filet Mignon with Portabella Mushrooms!)
I gotta admit this, we were so darn full, it was a heavy meal for us. Imagine having steak for brunch, definitely heavy. We had to take away half of the pizza and eat them later.
After that, we went for some shopping!
The girl loves the Accessorize here as she said that this is the biggest Accessorize in KL as compared to Pavilion, agreed XD
So, I bought her a dress and accessories for her, you can the joys in her smiles when she shops *zips mouth*
We didn't have much time since we had to rush to Genting, so we only manage to shop at one section of the mall. We went to Top Shop, Miss Selfridge , Cotton On, Forever 21, Dorothy Perkins and
She bought me this long sleeved black checkered button tee from Top Man, it's nice!
Finally I found something suitable for me at Top Man, haha =D
As time was running out, we went to Watsons to buy me an oral ulcer medicine, it was hurting quite badly.
I bet I would be able to eat more at Jogoya if I didn't have that ulcer, LOL!
On our way to Genting, we stopped by a stall to have some lemang, it's always popular, my parents love them! However, the price were a bit too expensive. The gravy/ kuah costs around RM5 while the lemang costs RM8? There were
I realised that it wasn't so easy to take a ride uphill especially on the way to Genting. I was slow, cars were passing and overtaking me, even a few Protons did as well as very few Kancil, embarassed X_X
I have no skill and I rev the engine, my petrol gauge are decreasing fast, I suppose. We parked the car at Awana Skyway and purchased the tickets for the ride to Genting.
She has been afraid of heights, altophobia, I would say. She held on me tight during the ride, she wasn't enjoying the view. I felt sympathetic towards her, she was nervous, seriously.
Thank god it was just 11 minutes to reach there, you can see the relieve in her face when she steps on the grounds of Genting XD
We had to wait for around 90 numbers before it's our turn. I got us a deluxe room at a good offer, just nice for all of us and we guys don't have to sleep on the floor, yay!
As we got the hotel key, we dropped our bags and we're off to enjoy and explore!
Guess what we had for dinner? Me and the girl had the leftover pizza that we took away at Italliannies. We're going economical, don't waste precious food XD
We went for karaoke at Genting Highlands, Be-A-Star Karaoke. Since it was just two of us that time, the room we got was surprisingly large and spacious. The dissapointing part though, was that the system was not that updated as expected. Lich was furious! Luckily she isn't a DOTA character, otherwise she would have casted her 'Chain Frost', LOL~
Again, another good offer for 3 hours, we sang till the top of our lungs. Satisfied and we had enough of singing, too bad I don't know Chinese. Otherwise, I would have accompanied her to sing her Chinese songs, hehe *smile*
It was close to 1.30am and we rushed all the way back to First World for the movies!
It was just released during our trip so we went to watch that. Ignore the date, it was a Singapore poster, it was released there early. XD
I was almost dozing off at the end of the movie, I don't find it so interesting anymore. It feels as though Jack Neo wasn't doing his best, I believe he could do better than this. I don't really fancy the part where the movie was ending but it was just a prank, gosh.
After the movie, we went to Starbucks for supper and to enjoy the nice breeze. The rest went back to the room to sleep. We love the atmosphere so so much! It's nice to have a hot drink of coffee at a cold place like this!
(Yum Yum!!)
DAY 3
We woke up late, haha..
It was already 10.30am, can't blame anything because we had a lot of sleep debt during the trip =D
So, we packed our things, double checked and got off our room to check out.
Our tummies were already growling, then we decide to head to Hou Mei!
It was crowded as usual, we didn't wait so long to get our table, lucky for us.
However, waiting for our order took us some time.
Beside Lich, there was this lonely old man just at the other table. We talked about him being such a loner and we wondered where his wife was if he had any. =x
(Poor Lich, she must be bored waiting for the food to come)
(Her Hai Nam Chicken Rice)
(My Seafood Fish Noodle, kinda unique!!)
Haha, unexpectedly, we decided to head back to KL for another night instead of going home since my parents said that they don't mind spending another night away from Kuantan, LOL~
So, we reached at night due to the freaking hectic jam!! Damn, this is what I hate about living in a city like KL, such a waste of time, grr!
Me and Lich went for a nice dinner at Carlos, we didn't know the food here was so delicious, magnificent!
Credit goes to me since I was curious about the amout of people in Carlos than compared to other places in Pavilion XD
The oysters were fresh and tasty, no doubts man!!
And it only costs RM2.50 for each of them, it wasn't small either, satisfaction is there!
Lich didn't want a main course, she ordered Burritos!
Another appetizing dish, it's a must try, tasted so good!
This was my main course, Mexican Canteena Burger!
Costs RM23, I don't think it's expensive, super fulling weih!!
It's a heavy meal, and I finished the whole thing, too mouth watering XD
The meat was super fresh and not hard, one of the best I've tasted, yum yum!
My banana milk shake, not many restaurants can make good banana drinks =x
This 1 is nice, creamy and it's flavour is just so fresh..
This is Lich's drink, the Virgin Magarita!
Tastes sour, has somewhat unique taste, a type of mocktail I suppose XD
That sums up almost everything of what I done during the trip, very memorable, especially the food!
The last day of the trip, I had an expensive lunch with Lich at Da On Korean Cuisine, the service and food were delicious, not forgetting the price XD
We had this bbq meal, called Modum Gui, it's special and a highlight of my trip, too bad I didn't take any photos, my mind was all on the food =x
Lich didn't eat much, she spent most of her time looking at me indulging the food, LOL!
I can't wait for another makan trip in the future, I enjoyed this a lot, worth it man!!
I'll be a better blogger and not post so long anymore, I hope, hehe~
Have fun with life *wee*
