I Was Late...Again..

Man, morning was such a rush.. as usual.. But..
I woke up at 9.30am today, OMG!!
By 9.36am, I received a sms from my supervisor asking me why I have not reached Quiksilver yet *nervous*

At first, I thought my work begins at 10am since my shift was 10am-9pm, I seriously didn't know that I had to reach there by 9.30am to do cleaning as well. So I just calmly replied : 'I 10am today la.'

Her next reply was quite fierce, I think. Maybe I'm just sensitive. She said that it's considered as morning shift and that I had to come by 9.30am. She then said that this isn't my 1st day of work and that I should know this.
I felt so embarassed and sorry, so I rushed my way to work with a quick bath and not being able to have my breakfast *sad*

As I arrived, quickly put my stuffs at the store, then do the cleaning. Wiped the glass panels to remove the fingerprints and etc, swept Quiksilver while Kak Lin swept the other half at Roxy's. *grateful*
I spent most of the time using the steamer to iron the new apparels which arrived not long ago. At least, that kept me occupied till it's break time!

Today's break was something that I was looking forward to, going to market to eat!
Since my girl couldn't join me since she was in noon shift, I went to 'tapao' instead. I became the delivery boy too, I 'tapao-ed' for the crew members too as they were craving for 'tau-fu-fah'. Worse of all, I had to do it alone *sob*
Well, I hurriedly left ECM, find a nice parking spot at the market, and do my 'shopping'.
Bought 5 packets of 'tau-fu-fah', keropok lekor, pisang goreng, 'chee-chong-fun', and leong cha. I tell you, my hands were full!
Time was envy, only left with 25 minutes, RUSH!!
When I reached back to ECM, only 15 minutes left, I had to eat my 'chee-cheong-fun' and 'tau-fu-fah' very fast. I bought my babe the same thing too and left her some of my leong cha so she won't get heaty *smile*

After break time, I was back to ironing the clothes and serving the customers. Foong Xin also talked to me about Annual Dinner, man I missed that! It must have been so so fun to meet everyone who works in Quiksilver and Roxy Malaysia!
The best part was that the event was held at Grand Millenium! (correct me if I'm wrong)

My babe had her break with her friends, I hoped she enjoyed her meal that I tapao for her from the market. She works at Levi's by the way, you can check her out there *smile*

Night time, it was near to 9pm, met this customer who really made me laugh, LOL!

Me : Hi welcome!

Customer walks towards jeans section and observe the jeans..

Me : Setiap jeans Quiksilver ader RM88 rebate
Customer : Ya kah? Baik-baik..

Customer eye-ing on the straight cut jeans called Matador..
Customer's friend just standing there doing nothing but carrying his shopping bag.

Customer : Ader saiz 33 ker?

Me checking for sizes..

Me : Sorry ya, tak der saiz 33, biasanya saiz seluar sini ader 30,32,34 dan 36 jer.

Customer : Adui, saya saiz 32 jer sebenarnya. I nak saiz 33 kerana saya perasan saiz Quiksilver, dia kecil sikit.

Me : Oh I see.. Apa kata awak cuba saiz 34 dulu? Ambil saiz 32 sekali, tengok yang mana lebih sesuai bagi awak.

Customer : Ah, tapi saya saiz 32 jer, mana boleh 34?

Me : Kan awak kata saiz Quiksilver kecil sikit bagi u? Mungkin saiz 34 boleh la.

Customer's friend laughs, made me laugh too.

Customer tries on the jeans and comes out.

Customer : Ketat la..

Me : Maner 1 ketat? 32?

Customer : Bukan, 34..

Customer's friend and I burst out laughing!

Me : Dah, tadi awak kata awak sebenarnya saiz 32, naper pulak saiz 34 tak leh?

Customer : Bukanlah, bahagian kaki ketat..

Customer pulls the shirt and showed tummy..
Customer's friend and I still laughing.

Customer : Mereka kata lepas lama pakai, selepas cuci, semakin ketat.
Me : Semakin lama u pakai, semakin longgar, ok la tu. Ni masih baru lagi, kira stok baru ni.


Me feeling awkward because customer and me have different sources.

Customer : Ya kah? Saya pernah beli ni, sama jer. Cutting dan model sama jer. Jadi, ini bukan baru sangat.

Me : Kalau macam tu, apa kata awak ambil yang lain? Takkan nak beli yang sama?


Customer : Saya nak yang ni jugak. Jeans yang saya beli tu, tailor saya buat sampai tak ngam, rosak dah.

Customer's friend and me burst out laughing again!

Customer : Macam ni, saya kena cari jalan la, tengok perut ni.

Customer : Ok la, boleh la ni.

Goes back to fitting room to change to his outfit.

Man, it was seriously funny. First, he said that he is just of size 32, but when he tried on size 34, he still think it's tight, LOL!!
I really enjoyed the last minutes of work before we end business hours. I worked till 10pm instead, love it there with customers around *smile*
At the same time, I wanted to see my girl after her work too, so I just work to past time.
Before closing time, Nik and I recalled the past as she said that I like working at Quiksilver. Well, it's true that I like working there, we helped with the renovation and I had wonderful memories there. They are all good to me and I like the crew a lot *smile* 


She didn't see me when she left Levi's *sob*
She headed to the entrance immediately without even looking anywhere else.
I blame that on myself for not telling her that I'll be there. I didn't even call her name out, I just see her going to the entrance. Oh well, at least she's safe, that was one of the few reasons I was there for.


That ends my day, it's normal but at least I enjoyed doing 'shopping' at the market and I had nice customers that made me laugh today, LOL!!
