Well, there will be a few movies up soon by 4th of March, so this is considered quite late for me to post about the movies.
Let's see for some highlights..
Well, I'll start with the movie that mostly everyone has been waiting for, especially the ladies..
ALICE IN WONDERLAND
Nice posters huh? *smile*
Starring :
Johnny Depp
Mia Wasikowska
Anne Hathaway
Helena Bonham Carter
Crispin Glover
Michael Sheen
Stephen Fry
17-year-old Alice (Mia Wasikowska) attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty society types. She runs off, following the White Rabbit (Michael Sheen) into a hole and ends up in Wonderland, a place she visited in a similar manner 10 years before, yet doesn't remember. Wonderland was a peaceful kingdom until the Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) overthrew her sister, the White Queen (Anne Hathaway). The creatures of Wonderland, such as the Cheshire Cat (Stephen Fry), Tweedledee and Tweedledum (Matt Lucas) and the March Hare (Noah Taylor), ready to revolt, wait for Alice to help them. With the help of the White Queen, the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) and the Caterpillar (Alan Rickman), Alice starts seeing flashbacks of her original visit, back when she was seven.

I've been doing a little comparison and it seems that certain plot says that Alice is 19 instead of 17, what a controversy. I couldn't conclude this but to place my trust on the handy Wiki, hehe.. So, Wiki says that Alice is 19, so she's 19 to me, settled.. *silence*
Just can't wait for the premiere, it's in 3D!!
Well, this is shorter than Avatar quite a lot, haha.. It's just 1h 42 min, so you don't have to hold your pants for so long before you get to finish the movie to go to the loo.
This movie should be good since this movie is directed by Tim Burton, ring any bells?
He directs many well known movies. His recent ones are 9, Sweeney Todd, Corpse Bride and Charlie & The Chocolate Factory.
Man, only the Red Queen gets a size increase by three times, I wanted to see the White Queen(Anne Hathaway) the same way too, it would be hilarious! *laughs*
By the way, the main theme song of this movie will be Alice by .... AVRIL LAVIGNE!!
And here's her song :
Here are some of the pictures I found..
Enough of Alice and her Wonderland, moving on to a more action packed movie..
People, you are hearing about this movie quite often on the radio..
SOLOMON KANE
Starring :
James Purefoy
Max Von Sydow
Rachel Hurd-Wood
Peter Postlethwaite
Kane (James Purefoy) is a mercenary of Queen Elizabeth I fighting in Africa, but after an encounter with a demon, The Reaper (Ian Whyte), he realises he must seek redemption or have his soul damned to Hell. He returns to England and lives a life of peace, converting to puritanism, but soon the doings of an evil sorcerer upset his plans and he must take up arms again

This movie came from a comic. And it's part of Marvel!! Who doesn't love Spiderman and Ironman!?
I'm crazy about them! *high*
It was released on the 23rd of Dec 2009 in France, imagine how slow we are to view this on the 4th of March.. *sighs*
Somehow, this movie reminds me of V for Vendetta. Not only that, the outfit looks so much like Van Helsing's style, copy? *shuts mouth*
Based on imdb.com, it has a 6.7 rating out of 10. Commentators wrote that this movie is bloody, as in raining with blood XD
However, take note that this movie is a bit of a fantasy, it has swords and magic.
The setting of his movie dates back to 17th Century in England, looks interesting.
By the way, the movie lengths to 1h 44min, normal *smile*
Some say that this movie will have a sequel too, I want to watch this!!
Screenies :
The next movie has many beautiful known actresses.. And they are mostly award winners, wow~
NINE
Starring :
Daniel Day-Lewis
Marion Cotillard
Stacy Ann Ferguson
Penélope Cruz
Judi Dench
Kate Hudson
Nicole Kidman
Sophia Loren

This movie is a musical-romantic film. I downloaded the movie last month, and I got the clear version (you can't blame me because the movie was released on the 25th Dec 2009 in USA). However, I still haven't watch it yet, waiting for my parents requests *smile*
Trust me, it isn't like Phantom of the Opera, I know that many are not fans of musical movies like that. I can asure one thing, their outfits are sexy! Storyline is interesting as well, we're talking about a man handling nine women, amazing huh?
This is a must watch, very interesting! It's only 1h 58min, not long, haha~

Well, that's all for now, I'm in a rush to go out, once again *smile*
