QS Undergoing Facelift!

On the 25th, there were some workers coming in to Quiksilver to install the new wallpapers. And so, before they started their work, I managed to snap a few shots
of the shop for memories sake. I missed out a few parts though *regret*
There were no changes done for almost 2 years already. At last, they decided to do it this year! *delightful*

Before

The work was completed a day after that which is on the 26th.
I'm happy that Quiksilver now has a new 'look'. With these changes, I won't feel so monotonous about the surroundings, at least it feels new now *smile*

After

Voila!
Love the new wallpapers? Or still prefer the old ones? *smile*

An auspicious day

Well, as the title says, an auspicious day, but it wasn't for me though *laughs*
Someone just got a year older!
Our dear friend, Pooi Jun Jin!!

(Yeng hor?) =D

Zack planned to give him a little 'surprise' at Zack's house by attempting to frighten him with a edited video from 'Saw'

See the monitor? That's where the video was played.
The monitor is being controlled at the room behind the monitor by Zack via laptop.
There's a webcam there for surveillance to know his arrival *smile*

Zack planned most of this for him, he must have put a lot of effort *impressed*
After that, all we had to do was to wait for the b'day boy to come and we just hide in Zack's computer room. Gosh, we waited for more than half an hour, Andrew was complaining about his hunger and wanted to go to the nearby pasar malam which is held every Saturday.
As he came, we were prepared and all of us hid in the room with Zack ready for his move. Jun Jin was with his girl, and they watched the video *laughs*
Outcome was dissapointing, we failed to frightened them!
Jun Jin watched it before. *sighs*
Well, just proceed with the part! *smile*
Let the images do the talking!

Well, I didn't take many photos actually, the rest took it, I will take it from them soon! I was busy recording videos *winks*

Not long after that, 'call of nature' began, HUNGRY!! *stomach growls*
We decided to go to TC for some western delicacy at the food court. I just love the chicken chop, tastes great and it isn't expensive, yum yum!
Right after dinner, we had to attend a yam cha session, so Lum and Kerina followed me to my car.
On the way to the parking lot, saw this..

Acts like a mime, just stays still until paid to move *shakes head*
If I kick his 'nuts', I wonder if he'll move or not *laughs*

We headed to Relax Cafe. Jia Li and Wei Lynn were already there waiting for us *pai seh*
I ordered a drink, forgot the name XD

I felt a bit disgusted by it, looks like those frog's eggs.. And somehow or rather, made me recall The Frog And The Princess, liked that show *smile*

We chit-chatted and played 'chor-dee' while Ms Kerina was snapping photos with her cam to occupy herself XD
Besides that, something sad happened. We had to cancel the plan to KL 'cause we don't have enough people to go. Yinn Jeng was so so upset, we felt sorry for her. Too bad that we couldn't cheer her up since she couldn't join us outside. Sigh..
After taking a group photo, we headed back home, some of the boys went to CoolX to play more 'piano' and I fetched Kerina home.
Photos will be uploaded soon!

A night out!

Hit the movies at East Coast Mall at 10.30pm last night. I had to rush there as I was in the middle of an errand before the show. Luckily I was on time *laughs*
Everyone was already waiting, I felt so sorry for making them wait there. There are a total of 10 of us and it's an all boys night *grins*

We watched The Spy Next Door!

Throughout the movie, there are sure to be laughters, it's just funny! *smile*
Not too mention cute too! There's this little girl named Nora and aged 4, her acts and looks are just so so adorable! She's entertaining! In fact, I paid more attention to Nora compared to Bob(Jackie Chan) *smiles*

"I don't want to be a princess anymore,
I want to be a cyborg"

that was what Nora said, so cute and funny!
I give this movie a thumbs up for it's comedies! *proud*
Go watch watch watch!!

When the movie ended, it was around 12 already, we decided to go for supper at Taj for roti canai. I had friends in different groups, lol. Andre is with his two friends that I'm not farmiliar with yet, while Chan was with Cho, Brandon and Tay. I had to switch from a group to another like that, lol. Lum was with me too and we were in the middle *laughs*
I had 2 roti canai while Lum had 2 cheese nan, wow.. *amazed*
He sure can stuff a lot of food for supper, he can join my family's lifestyle anytime! *smile*

Tay talked about his apartment, where he complained every night about his noisy neighbour. He claimed that the neighbour made noises from sex activity and that caused Tay to have difficulty to sleep, poor Tay *laughs*
Correct me if I'm wrong, Tay, cause that was what I heard while you were already talking about that halfway, lol!

But his days are over as he will be pursuing his education at Australia with Cho and Brandon but in separate places. Good luck!

On the other hand, Andre bought a iPhone 3GS already, 2 days before New Year via Maxis Plan. We just had a yam cha session not long ago to talk about phones and he already bought one so fast, lol. He's just fast, he must be excited to own a iPhone. I told him to jailbreak his iPhone but he wouldn't dare to do it as it would void the warranty. If he did dat, his iPhone would do wonders, I could supply him all the nice games and applications that I found, muahaha~

By around 1am, we left the place and headed home. I fetched Lum home and I sped off back to my house too.

Anyway, we enjoyed the movie, everyone said it was nice, I'm glad that no one was dissapointed *sighs of relief*

Again, I suggest that you guys watch The Spy Next Door, it's worth watching and it's entertaining!

Games to Movies =D

Again I'm in the mood to post about movies!
This time, let's check out about movies which are inspired from games.
Here are a list of movies which will be released in the 1st half of the year:

 Tekken

Starring :
Jon Foo as Jin Kazama
Ian Anthony Dale as Kazuya Mishima
Hiroyuki Tagawa as Heihachi Mishima

Lateef Crowder as Eddy Gordo
Naomi Tomita as Jun Kazama
Gary Ray Stearns as Yoshimitsu
Anton Kasabov as Sergei Dragunov
Roger Huerta as Miguel Caballero Rojo
Mircea Monroe as Kara
Jae Hee as Hwoarang

A high-octane action movie about a young man who wants to seek revenge for his mother's death. He finds his grand-father, Heihachi Mishima, and pleas to be trained. When the Mishima leader announces a "King of Iron Fist" tournament. He finds out that his mother's killer, Ogre, will be participating in the tournament. He must fight against the worlds top competitors to achieve his goal with no interference.

This movie is expected to be released by May 2010.
It seems that this movie was already released in U.S. since November 2009 and will be released in Japan by early of March this year. I wonder why it takes so long for Tekken to premiere in Malaysia for so long *sighs*
I just hope they don't use so much time to do the censoring work and all, otherwise, it would be so so dissapointing for us.

A little history for you guys.. This game has been very popular since it's first release in the year 1994. Until today, the developer, Namco has already made it's 6th series with it's latest known as Tekken 6 : Bloodline Rebellion in 2008.
My favourites are King (he isn't this movie, sob), Yoshimitsu, Hwoarang and Eddy!!
But I'm a retiree, lost interest in Tekken because I couldn't catch up *embarassed*

Rumour has it that Jackie Chan will be starring in this movie as...

Lei Wulong!

They do have resemblance, but I prefer Lei to be in his original outfit.. *dissapointed*

Here's another shocking awe..

Cung Le as Marshall Law?
I don't even think this is quite right, the body is alright, but not the looks!

Craig Marduk will be hard to impersonate because he is over-sized and over-muscular. Nathan Jones just don't look..big *smile*

Prince Of Persia : The Sands Of Time

Starring:
Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan
Gemma Arterton as Princess Tamina
Ben Kingsley as Nizam

Set in medieval Persia, the story of an adventurous prince who teams up with a rival princess to stop an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy the world. Which is why after the prince was tricked by a dying Vizier to unleash the Sands of Time that turns out to destroy a kingdom and transforms its populace into ferocious demons. In his effort to save his own kingdom and redeem his fatal mistake, it's up to the prince and the princess to return the sands to the hourglass by using the Dagger of Time, which also gives him a limited control over the flow of time.

Movie distributed by Walt Disney Studios, they must have laid high interest in this *laughs*
Set to release on the 27th May in Malaysia, I bet this movie will be a big blockbuster!
Popularly known in the game for the cool acrobatic moves, I hope that all the moves will be able to be implemented into the movie. I just can't wait for its release! Gotta love Walt Disney!! *high*

Check out the shots:

And here's the video, nice~

The King Of Fighters

Starring:
Sean Faris as Kyo Kusanagi
Maggie Q as Mai Shiranui
Will Yun Lee as Iori Yagami
Ray Park as Rugal Bernstein
Françoise Yip as Chizuru Kagura
Hiro Kanagawa as Saisyu Kusanagi
David Leitch as Terry Bogard
Sam Hargrave as Ryo Sakazaki
Monique Ganderton as Mature
Bernice Liu as Vice

A stylish, high-octane, live action feature based on the highly successful video game franchise, in which the last surviving descendants of three legendary clans are continuously transported to other dimensions to test their martial arts skills against an evil force that seeks to invade and infect the real world.

This movie will be released on the 10th June 2010. Somehow or rather, I feel that this is just going to be almost the same as Tekken. After all, both are from the same genre. There is well known actresses in this movie though, that made the difference. Maggie Q and Hong Kong celebrity, Bernice Liu will be in. I was shocked to find out that a Hong Kong TVB actress would be in just because she likes the game,lo.. *jaw drop*

Anyway, I'm not a great fan of King of Fighters, too bad. However, this is well known in the gaming world, so many series has been released since 1994. Amounting up till now, there is up to 29 games in total, and this excludes others games related to this game *surprised*

Most of the images I fetched are Maggie Q, can't deny that she's famous..

I couldn't find any official trailer yet, either it was not released yet or I didn't put enough effort to search. What I managed to find is only part of a movie preview and interview, go take a 'peek' *smile*

This covers up films based on video games for the 1st half of the year, people!
There's still many more upcoming movies based on video games for the 2nd half, go surf it up!
For some that I know are :

  i) Left For Dead
 ii) Mortal Kombat : Devastation
iii) God Of War

Ne-Yo Fever!!

You guys must have known that Ne-Yo is performing tonight(7th Jan) at Sunway Lagoon at 8pm right?

As you can see from the image, there are still limits of VVIP tickets available and also quite a number of regular tickets at Purple Zone which cost RM140/ticket. I got this image today, but it's better to check out whether there are still tickets available or not to be on the safe side.

I bet it will be great to be there, his songs are great! Meaningful and soothing, totally gotta agree with that =x
Unfortunately, I can't go because mum told me that I won't be able to enjoy the concert so much due to certain problems. She told me before that she attended the Guiness Arthur's Day which featured Black Eyed Peas and many other artistes, she complained that she had a hard time looking at the stage due to height difference of the platform. It was inconvenient for her to enjoy the whole performance. Because of this, I never manage to go for Ne-Yo's concert, I'm also busy for work and classes too, I guess that's 'excusable'. We still prefer Genting Highland : Arena Of Stars, love it there! I remember being there for Click Five's concert, woo!! *smiles*

For people who are not able to go, I've got a list of his songs from his latest album : Year Of The Gentleman which was released in year 2008.

You can download them song by song below :

01. Closer
02. Nobody
03. Single
04. Mad
05. Miss Independent
06. Why Does She Stay
07. Fade Into The Background
08. So You Can Cry
09. Part Of The List
10. Back To What You Know
11. Lie To Me
12. Stop This World

Oh! I even have his latest song for you guys, it's called Never Knew I Needed. I loved this song a lot because I felt the same way based on what he conveyed in the song lyrics. This song is a theme soundtrack for the movie The Princess & The Frog, go watch it!
I watch this movie with my girl before she goes to Aussie, man I miss her so much whenever I hear this song, it was the last movie she watched with me before she goes off, I hope it never ended so fast. *pouts lips*

(more pouty than that) XD

Anyway, here's the song!
Ne-Yo - Never Knew I Needed

Have a great time people! *winks*

Get Techie!!

I checked out some tech updates today since I'm quite free after fetching my little brother to school. Here are some cool things that you ought to know *smile*

Parrot's AR. Drone Helicopter

The brand Parrot, is well known for their bluetooth accessories for entertainment and convenience.. Some that I know are..
Pepe the Parrot USB Gadget

Digital Messaging Switch Plate

Bluetooth Digital Photo Frame
Now, they recently released this cool AR.Drone Helicopter that comes with a pair of cameras, one to help steady itself and the other to beam a live bird's-eye view. This helicopter uses a Wi-Fi remote control. Guess what is the remote control? I was surprised to find out that it is the iPhone or iPod Touch!! With these gadgets, who knows what you could do?
Lol.. I hope it isn't peeping *zips mouth*

Anyway, here are some pictures of the model.

Android 2.1

Some of you might not know what Android is. Well, it is an operating system running on Linux kernel. Initially developed by Android Inc., the firm is later purchased by Google, then lately by Open Handset Alliance.
In my opinion, I think that this operating system is very amazing. In fact, I think it is better than Symbian operating system which is mainly used by Nokia smartphones. Judging from the interface, it's so beautiful and sophisticated. My words won't be able to express it, but have a look at the pictures below.. (pictures provided by Gizmodo.com)

Rumours have it that the Android 2.1 will be implemented in HTC Hero. We'll have to wait for the source to confirm the news. The predecessor of the Android 2.1 which is Android 2.0 is popularly known to be running in Sony Erricsson's Xperia X10. I would love the X10 if it is Qwerty too, but too bad it isn't *sob*
X2 has qwerty and touchscreen but it isn't running in Android, sigh.. Looks like perfection is hard to achieve, lol..
The X10 looks very cool, check it out!

ASUS NX90JQ

Asus announced and demonstrated a stunningly powerful lappy not long ago this year during the CES(Consumer Electronics Show) 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This lappy was designed by Bang & Olufsen's chief designer, David Lewis. With a polished aluminium exterior, the laptop looks so elegant and has a class of its own. This laptop has something unique, a dual gargantuan touch-pad!!

ASUS claims that the dual touch-pad feature will allow a 'DJ turntable'-like experience. Dig the screenshots, cool!!

The specifications of the laptop are as shown below, it is 'crazy' *smiles*

The laptop weighs in a hefty 10.5lbs (4.76kg) and can quote up to an approximate value of $2500, that's around RM 8500 I suppose. For those specs, I think it's worth it. ASUS rocks!! XD
