Get Techie!!

I checked out some tech updates today since I'm quite free after fetching my little brother to school. Here are some cool things that you ought to know *smile*

Parrot's AR. Drone Helicopter

The brand Parrot, is well known for their bluetooth accessories for entertainment and convenience.. Some that I know are..
Pepe the Parrot USB Gadget

Digital Messaging Switch Plate

Bluetooth Digital Photo Frame
Now, they recently released this cool AR.Drone Helicopter that comes with a pair of cameras, one to help steady itself and the other to beam a live bird's-eye view. This helicopter uses a Wi-Fi remote control. Guess what is the remote control? I was surprised to find out that it is the iPhone or iPod Touch!! With these gadgets, who knows what you could do?
Lol.. I hope it isn't peeping *zips mouth*

Anyway, here are some pictures of the model.

Android 2.1

Some of you might not know what Android is. Well, it is an operating system running on Linux kernel. Initially developed by Android Inc., the firm is later purchased by Google, then lately by Open Handset Alliance.
In my opinion, I think that this operating system is very amazing. In fact, I think it is better than Symbian operating system which is mainly used by Nokia smartphones. Judging from the interface, it's so beautiful and sophisticated. My words won't be able to express it, but have a look at the pictures below.. (pictures provided by Gizmodo.com)

Rumours have it that the Android 2.1 will be implemented in HTC Hero. We'll have to wait for the source to confirm the news. The predecessor of the Android 2.1 which is Android 2.0 is popularly known to be running in Sony Erricsson's Xperia X10. I would love the X10 if it is Qwerty too, but too bad it isn't *sob*
X2 has qwerty and touchscreen but it isn't running in Android, sigh.. Looks like perfection is hard to achieve, lol..
The X10 looks very cool, check it out!

ASUS NX90JQ

Asus announced and demonstrated a stunningly powerful lappy not long ago this year during the CES(Consumer Electronics Show) 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This lappy was designed by Bang & Olufsen's chief designer, David Lewis. With a polished aluminium exterior, the laptop looks so elegant and has a class of its own. This laptop has something unique, a dual gargantuan touch-pad!!

ASUS claims that the dual touch-pad feature will allow a 'DJ turntable'-like experience. Dig the screenshots, cool!!

The specifications of the laptop are as shown below, it is 'crazy' *smiles*

The laptop weighs in a hefty 10.5lbs (4.76kg) and can quote up to an approximate value of $2500, that's around RM 8500 I suppose. For those specs, I think it's worth it. ASUS rocks!! XD

Feeding bacon to pigs is so wrong!! =x
Like the song? You can download from here :
Green Day - Know Your Enemy

This movie is set to release on the 14th January in GSC which is 1 day earlier from the USA release that is on the 15th. Movie must be hilarious, as we all know that Jackie Chan is popular with movies especially comedies. To name a few, The Tuxedo, Shanghai Knights, Shanghai Noon, Rush Hour series and so many more!!

I'm quite surprised that Lionsgate would be the distributor for this movie, usually this company distributes mainly horror and gore movies, at least that's what I thought of. Some notable ones are like The Saw series (FYI, Saw 7 and 8 are coming out, omg!!), The Haunting In Connecticut and Bloody Valentine. Well, for those who didn't watch the trailer, it seems that this movie kinda like took off right after The Tuxedo, you ought to check it out, just for curiosity's sake *smile*
Movie runs for 1h and 29mins, that's an average length for movies =)
Here are some of the screenshots..

He looks so naive in this movie, lol.. Must be one nice babysitter to bully XD
The small girl is so so cute, haha *laughs*

By the way, a little something about Jackie Chan.. Just to let you guys know him better..

I find this funny, LOL~
He doesn't look that bad to me XD
I just couldn't imagine him being in a Chun Li outfit and I found it at last! *giggles*
This image was taken from a movie called City Hunter dating back to 1993, that's very old.. I was like only 3 years, wouldn't bother watching movies that time, lol *smile*

Looks like there will be 3 more movies which look interesting to me that will be released on the 21st, wow!!
Let's review 1 by 1 *winks*

Legion

Starring :
Paul Bettany (acted in The Da Vinci Code as Silas)
Tyrese Gibson (recognise him in Transformers? *smile*)
Kevin Durand (he's known as 'The Blob' in X-Men Origins : Wolverine)

An out-of-the-way diner becomes the unlikely battleground for the survival of the human race. When God loses faith in humankind, he sends his legion of angels to bring on the Apocalypse. Humanity's only hope lies in a group of strangers trapped in a desert diner with the Archangel Michael (Paul Bettany) to protect a young waitress who may be pregnant with Christ in his second coming.

All I can say is that the grandma looks scary, look at it. Now you would wish that you'd better be off with your current grandmother though they might be grumpy at times =x
The ghoul, he looks so weird to me, it's just like a stretch of body parts, that's what I think. Movie review sites say that this movie isn't that worth watching, you guys might think twice about watching this.
However, I always prefer watching than listening to people's opinions, who knows that other people might have different 'taste'?
I'm still fascinated with its storyline, so I'll watch it when I have the time.

Let's get to a Thai horror, it's a favourite XD

Haunted Universities

Starring :
Panward Hemmanee
Anna Reese
Ashiraya Peerapatkunchaya

Based on various horror and ghost tales set in universities, the film centers around some students who encounter paranormal events in their university. They must fight against their fears and scary things that are haunting their university.

I can be quite sure that this is scary, even the trailer is scary enough!
I don't even know whether I dare to watch it or not, what happens if I end up in university? Omg, damn it..

First of all, I'm so glad that it wasn't a movie by GMM Tai Hub a.k.a. GTH!
I got so bored of their movies already, I don't know why either. I have never heard of this company before though, it's Sahamongkol Film International. At least Wiki says that it is ahead of GMM Tai Hub, take that! =p
Well, this movie was actually released last year already in October 2009, I guess. Some of you might have downloaded and watched it in the com or via dvd but I bet that watching it at the cinema is much more 'exiciting' =x
The movie has 4 short stories in it, I guess each of them are non-related. This movie reminds me of the Phobia series by GTH, watched it? I only watched the 1st with my girl, haven't watch the 2nd one yet *sob*
So, people, better 'buckle-up' because this will sure freak us, students out especially those in universities XD
It's gonna be a 1h 30min of spine-chilling horror, get some popcorns to cover your sight if you want to =x
Back to another comedy, I LOVE comedies! *smiles*

The Tooth Fairy
It is Tooth Fairy by Dwayne Johnson!!
And it's definitely not this one, don't get confused..

Or neither this..lol..

(googled this out XD)

Starring :
Dwayne Johnson
Ashley Judd
Stephen Merchant
Julie Andrews (She's the 'Queen' in Princess Diaries)
Ryan Sheckler

Dwayne Johnson is "The Tooth Fairy" also known as Derek Thompson, a hard-charging minor league hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster's hopes, he's sentenced to one week's hard labor as a "real" tooth fairy, complete with the requisite tutu, wings, and magic wand. At first, Derek "can't handle the tooth" - bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers' homes...doing what tooth fairies do. But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams.

This movie reminds me a little about The Game Plan. This movie should be just about the same too, and I'm sure it's gonna be funnier than The Game Plan *excited*
I laughed looking at Dwayne Johnson a.k.a. The Rock with ballerina clothings/pj's and tutu, you should watch the trailer, LOL~
This movie lengths up to 2h and 4 mins which is longer than The Game Plan by 14 minutes.

So, that sums up my movie surfing for this month, I guess. I'll post more regarding upcoming movies, I found a lot of great movies XD
Enjoy readers!! *smiles*
